hey sorry, probably that subject has allready been discussed but i didnt find anything applying to my problem so far...

i have a mambo site since a week and i would like to use the simple image gallery.  the installing went without problems, it shows in the mambots manager and also the folder (which i called "gallery") in images/stories is working, as i can see the fotos and ad tham when working in the content manager. i created a new button in the top menu "gallery" and linked it to the static content "gallery" where i just typed {gallery}gallery{/gallery} just like it says in the tutorials, i allread tryed a lot of variations with spaces, different file name, sig instead of gallery, etc... but it doesnt work

every time i open the website it just shows the written text instead of translating it into the simple image gallery...

heres the link to my site:
peter-ramsebner.at/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=26&Itemid=40

maybe i should also mention that i dont use a maboserver but my own..

does someone have an idea?

thanx for ur help!!
ena

which was exacly the problem. Due to writing restrictions in mambots/content the SIG did not install correctly and did not work at all. Looks like it´s all fixed now.
